Born and raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico, Dr. Nicole Nazario is a passionate and dedicated veterinarian. Alongside her two younger siblings, she cultivated a love for animals from an early age, which eventually led her on an incredible journey in pursuit of her veterinary dreams.

In 2009, she embarked on an academic journey that led her to Ames, Iowa, where she successfully earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University in 2014, laying the foundation for her future endeavors.

After a brief return to Puerto Rico, where she gained valuable experience working at a pet store, Dr. Nazario pursued her dream of becoming a Veterinarian at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts & Nevis. Following the completion of her courses on the island, she further honed her skills during a year of clinical studies at Mizzou, culminating in the achievement of her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in May 2019.

Following the completion of her degree, she relocated to Florida, where she has been dedicated to caring for small animals. Her commitment to providing top-notch care led her to join the esteemed team at Winter Springs Veterinary Clinic in January 2024. Driven by a passion for preventative care, she eagerly anticipates educating clients and delivering high-quality medicine to ensure the health and happiness of their beloved pets.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Nazario's enjoys hitting the gym, playing soccer, or just chilling with friends and her fur babies. When she's winding down, she enjoys movies, TV shows, puzzles, and a good video game session.

At home, Dr. Nazario shares her life with a German Shorthaired Pointer mix named Poe and a snuggly cat named Kylo. The furry family expands on occasion to include three other kitties — Dooku, Grogu, and Ahsoka — as well as a husky named Ventress. Dr. Nazario's commitment to the well-being of animals extends from the clinic to her home, creating a harmonious blend of professional expertise and genuine love for her four-legged companions.
